The story behind the Traune bedroom set.
This project presents a complete boys’ bedroom design with a subtle space theme and bold, graphic lines that give the furniture its own strong character. The goal was to create a unique environment that instantly “screams Bonis” in its design language, while remaining flexible enough to work with different wall colors and interior styles.
This child-furniture collection includes a single bed and a bunk bed option, a study desk, a nightstand and a spacious wardrobe, all sharing the same angular silhouettes, cut‑out details and emblem graphics. Furthermore, each piece of the Traune Set, is designed with dynamic, almost spacecraft‑like profiles that give the room a futuristic, adventure-ready atmosphere, encouraging imagination and play as much as study and rest.
A carefully balanced palette of neutral greys and whites is accented with a warm yellow stripe, keeping the overall look calm and versatile but still energetic and boyish. This neutral approach allows the room to adapt easily to any existing flooring, wall color or décor, while the consistent graphic motif and forms tie everything together into one cohesive, custom-designed universe.
